Why a Bourbon Boat Tour this summer?

Why a Bourbon Boat tour this summer? Well, first, we are a "one of a kind experience"...literally! You will not find another whiskey distillery/ history tour in the world.

Second, we are very proud of what we do, and we are very good at it. We believe in teaching the unadulterated truth about bourbon. This includes how bourbon's history affects Kentucky history, a how Kentucky history affects bourbon history. We talk about multiple distilleries along the way, like Castle and Key, Woodford Reserve, Glenn's Creek, and Wild Turkey Distilleries, and even have partnerships with some of the bigger players in the game, like Buffalo Trace Distillery.

Third, our tours are relaxing way to take some time while on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail to simply slow down and enjoy what beauty we have here in Kentucky. We all get in such a rush to do the trail, "we got to get to this distillery at this time to get in line", or "oh, I hear they have this bourbon on the shelf today", that we forget it's supposed to be fun!

Finally, look at what some others have said recently about our tours:

"We were hesitant when we arrived at the parking area, as it looked a little rundown. But once we got on the boat, the trip was amazing. The captain was very knowledgeable and entertaining in providing us with the history of the river, the distilleries, and the whole state of Ky. Also, the hospitality was wonderful as we were offered refreshing drinks (non alcohol). Highly recommend!" - Jayne P.

"TAKE THIS TOUR. The crew did a great job. Nathan did an outstanding job talking about the history of the area, what we were seeing. He treated us very well and had a lot of useful information. Loved that we got a local soda to taste and a bourbon ball. Very nice extra! Our group of 4 thought this it was a nice change of pace during out bourbon trail trip. Highly recommend." - Ann M.

"Our Bourbon Belle Boat tour was amazing! Captain Nathan is one of the most insightful, engaging, and informative historians I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. His knowledge of all things Kentucky (and bourbon) is fascinating! How does he remember all of those names, dates, and intriguing details?

Captain Allison maneuvered the boat seamlessly. One of our friends suffers from intense motion sickness, but had no issues.

Deck hand Isla was productive and helpful. Love seeing s young person with her work ethics and great attitude when working with the public.

Every person we encountered at Kentucky River tours ( bourbonboat.com ) was professional, friendly, efficient, and provided amazing customer care!" - Anita B.
